Available Services

In-home and telepractice

Services are provided in the setting best suited to meet your child’s needs. Regardless of the service delivery mode, it is always exceptional, reliable, and convenient. If services are needed/preferred in the home, sanitary precautions are taken to ensure the safety of your child and your family.

Evaluations

Evaluations are designed to assess and identify areas of potential weakness in your child’s speech and language skills that could likely benefit from intervention. Evaluations are holistic and include parent and child interviews, clinical observations, and formal standardized testing. The results of your child’s evaluation, potential treatment options, and clinical recommendations are reported and discussed with parents during an in-person/video meeting.

Individual Therapy

Your child’s treatment plan is individualized to address the areas of difficulty determined by his/her evaluation as well as personal, academic, and functional goals. Sessions are designed to incorporate your child’s interests, to be fun, effective, and engaging while adhering to best evidence-based practices. The number, duration, and location (offered in-home and remotely) of weekly therapy sessions is dependent upon the needs of the child, clinical recommendations and parental input/requests.  Parent or care-giver training/counseling is included in services and updates regarding client progress via phone, video, or email is provided as often as parents wish. Client carryover is provided as needed to reinforce treatment goals.

Consultation Services

Upon parental request and after parents have secured services with Listen-Think-Speech Therapy, the clinician is available as needed for consultation with teachers, psychologists, and audiologists as well as attending and advocating on behalf of the client for services at Annual Review Meetings.
